Dune grass swaying beside weathered cedar at golden hour on the New Jersey shore

Boutique Coastal Escapes · New Jersey Shore

Where the land meets the shore.

For three generations, our family has kept a small handful of places along the Jersey coast — quiet houses rooted in the dunes, built for slow mornings, long walks, and the kind of light you remember.

Our Story

A family, a stretch of coast, and a habit of caring for it.

Lorenz Family Land began with a single weathered cottage tucked behind the dunes — passed down, patched up, and lived in across three generations of summers. The places we keep today grew out of that one.

We are stewards before we are hosts. Each house is restored slowly, with local cedar and honest materials, and designed to disappear into the landscape it sits on. Nothing precious; everything considered.

What you'll find is small by design: a handful of properties, a real family on the other end of the phone, and a quiet kind of hospitality shaped entirely by this coast.

"We don't build for the season. We build for the people who keep coming back."
